CASA of oregon

Community And Shelter Assistance Corp (CASA) is a private nonprofit that helps direct-service agencies throughout the state improve the quality of life for families in all communities. They administer a variety of programs for low income and farm worker families.

vida

VIDA is a partnership of agencies throughout the state who offer Individual Development Accounts (IDAs) to low income residents that are investing in an asset. Several savings programs are offered which include home buying, post-secondary education, or a small business. This is a program overseen by CASA.

community frameworks

We partner with Community Frameworks as a Self-Help Home Ownership Program (SHOP) Affiliate. They serve nonprofit “sweat equity” housing programs like ours in the Northwest through grants from Housing and Urban Development (HUD), administering funds to nonprofits for land acquisition, development, and construction or renovation projects.

housing authority of yamhill county (hayc)

As a partner area housing provider, HAYC is an important part of our network. They provide home buying classes to our program participants as well as other financial literacy classes to anyone in the community. They offer several housing programs including the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program in addition to housing for farm workers, seniors, or those with special needs.

YCAP is another close partner in our network. They operate a food bank and provide many services to the community including financial assistance, shelter and housing assistance, energy services, and youth services.
